Assistant Brass Tutor
Will started playing the trumpet and piano at age 6, he attended music services both in the city of Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Moorlands where he began playing other brass instruments such as the euphonium and trombone etc.
The trumpet is the instrument he worked through the ABRSM grades with as well as musical theory. He has always played in multiple bands across a variety of genres from the Cheshire 20 Big Band to Trentham Brass Band as well as KEMS and Crewe Concert Bands.
Improvisation in Jazz and Latin music has also been a valuable part of his musical development, playing in clubs in Liverpool and Manchester.
Volunteering at Congleton Youth Orchestra has been a brilliant experience and has allowed me to share my enthusiasm for brass instruments.
